Zubizarreta Legacy

The Zubizarreta Legacy award grants LoxamHune in its second edition

With an endowment of 3.000 € to promote responsible initiatives

LoxamHune, subsidiary in Spain and Portugal of the Loxam Group and Europe's largest machinery rental company, has been awarded by IMCOINSA, machinery manufacturer for construction and industry, for its initiatives aimed at reducing emissions and its commitment with community.

In its second edition, these awards, named Zubizarreta Legacy in honour of Mr. Luis Pérez Zubizarreta, founder of IMCOINSA, recognize organizations that stand out for developing their activity from a values perspective.

The awards recognize the work of those companies in the distribution sector with an efficient management based on the defense and promotion of business ethics, and the recognition of the values of effort and commitment.

This year, more than 30 initiatives have been presented, with a wide variety of orientations (people management, sports, cultural, environmental, etc.), in different organizations (SMEs, national and international companies) and different stages in the projects' development.

Among these initiatives, the finalists were the projects presented by the firms LoxamHune, Valser and Suministros Urquiza.

Suministros URQUIZA is a company from Burgos specialized in agricultural spare parts, located in Briviesca (Burgos) and a family company which develops different initiatives in equality, family conciliation and solidarity areas.

Valser, a machinery rental company located in the Levante area, has presented an interesting project called Machines connecting Art, which combines art and culture with its rental activity through the implementation of artistic paintings on different rental equipment.

Finally, the environmental certification projects of the carbon footprint and its commitment to 'green' machinery developed by LoxamHune were the winners in this second edition of the Zubizarreta Legacy recognition.

As a result of this recognition, LoxamHune will receive a prize of 3.000 €, which will be used to promote Social Responsibility initiatives.

Both organizations, sharing a long history in the rental sector at a national level, also share the promotion and development of different initiatives under their social responsibility policies.
